I forgot to say: Dream Theater and Iron Maiden were amazing.
Anyways, I am currently freaking out because I already bought my tickets for Katatonia... at The Rock... on Tuesday, September 28th. Imagine my surprise when The Rock announces Ludo will be playing there on Tuesday, September the 28th! WHAT THE FUCK! Did they FORGET Katatonia was playing? I'm sorry, Ludo can suck it, this is the ONLY thing I have to look forward to for the rest of the year and I'm not going to let the Rock ruin it because they don't know how to book! I knew they were stupid but my god, this is a new level. And if they canceled the show, I am going to freak out. Raaaaaaah!!! I contacted the venue, no answer. I am so pissed. _________________ It is an heretic that makes the fire,

Lucky you! I could not go this year because we moved. But I will be at Dong Open Air and for one day at Rock Area Festival _________________ Då ska jag gråta av glädje,

Sorry to take this down into the gutter but...Dong Open Air has to be the funniest sounding name for a concert to an English speaker!
I'm still have a 6th grade boy's humor at times...forgive me.
I think..."Dong Open Air...I think I have a pair of loose fitting boxer shorts where this happens all of the time?" _________________ "I may be a Pennsylvania German, but I feel the Viking blood in my veins!" |

Well, the village is named dong. It's the same like Fucking in Austria. But the Dong Open Air is quite known in the US just because of it's name.
And I am a proud owner of 7 Dong-Shirts! _________________ Då ska jag gråta av glädje,

*snicker* dong.
Well, somebody realized The Rock's mistake and Katatonia has been moved to another venue. I am still pissed. Ludo was scheduled second and they're a much newer band. Not to mention, the venue that Katatonia got moved to (normally a nightclub) would be much better suited to Ludo and their audience. The disrespect is just... rrrraaaaaggghhhh!
Also, I'M FINALLY GOING TO SEE LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE the day before Halloween. Unfortunately, with Rob Vitacca, not Christopher Schmid. It'll have to do but I have a feeling I'm gonna be a complete girl about it and either get really pissed or start crying the second Rob sings one of Chris' songs... _________________ It is an heretic that makes the fire,

It was nice to see you again!
The festival was as cool as it ever was, but unfortunatelly I couldn't enjoy it my best since I was sick (my fever from the week before still wasn't gone), besides that I heard 2 days after the festival that I've got the Pfeiffer disease... which explained why I was sleeping every afternoon to make myself feel a bit human again in the evening...
I was so fucking tired during the entire festival.. while I slept enough..
Upcomming are Wacken, Party San and Summer Breeze
Since I have rested a LOT this week, I'm at least not sick anymore and not as fucking tired as I was last weeks so I'm feeling a bit better, but I still have to calm down a LOT on these festivals (which is very hard for me, but afternoon sleeps are heaven I found out ) _________________ www.metal-exposure.com |

ahh had that number, it really sucks. we call it glandular fever here, and it really fucks some people up. mostly i just felt constantly drained and slept a lot, but one of my mates got it and it had him bedridden for a month. i remember at one point i got so sick of just being dead tired all the time, i pumped myself full of red bull and had a raging night on the piss. REALLY, REALLY felt like shit the day after that one. so yeah, rest up
my ex-gf (who i stay in contact with) is going to wacken, i'm a little jealous tbh. i said i wouldn't bother with wacken again, as it's just too big, but i'd take any excuse to camp and drink and rock out right now. have a blast...and especially party.san!! that's one of the most underrated festivals ever. |

I hope you will get better soon, Ingrid! Be careful on these festivals. I heard, that if you do not calm down enough you are not allowed to drink alcohol for one year because it will destroy your organs. But I don't know if this is right, I fortunately never got this disease. _________________ Då ska jag gråta av glädje,

Well Pfeiffer (mono.. whatever it's called everywhere) injures your liver.
But well yeah, they tested my liver and it is perfect So I cán drink alcohol.
I'm not having it very bad (which is probably why my liver is ok ), I'm still able to do stuff and so on, I'm just tired very fast and I need lots of sleep at the moment.
@Turner: yeah, Party San is the best festival of those 3 I'm going to... it ROCKS!!! _________________ www.metal-exposure.com |
