the solstafir show starts 25 minutes after the tyr show. and tyr is playing on that small viking stage. hard decision. and i fear i will not go to tyr. well we will see

The gig from Týr at Wacken was awesome!!! A great performance from the band itself (as always of course ^_^) and there were so many people, damn  .
It was really crowded and a lot of crowdsurfers but the atmosphere was great! I think that this also was a great gig for Týr itself with so many people standing there!
Already looking forward to the next live performance from Týr!!! ^_^ |

Totally agree!!! Where were you? I was very close to the stage, almost in front of Heri. I think that stage was too small for that kind of show, anyway Gunnar and Heri was able to have close contact with fans. It's a great thing!!
The only negative side: as always, noone seems to know how to pronounce exactly their name....even the introducer....

By the way, during the concert Heri did a true spot for Eldvatn vodka.....did it become official sponsor of Týr??

@ Gigi: euhm I was at the 5th row or something, not completely in the front :-S . We went to the Medieval Stage an hour before Týr was going to play (at the end from the previous band), but that wasn't enough to stand at the front row apparently. But during the gig with all the movement and crowdsurfers coming along, we were standing at the 3th row at the end.
Nice pictures btw, I have some too, but on my pictures there also are (almost) always security people on it god damnit . |
